1. Preparation Specifications for the Base Material Surface Before Adhesion

Before applying BOPET Orange Film for Anti-scratch Protection, it is necessary to remove oil stains, metal debris, and dust particles from the workpiece surface. Only use dust-free microfiber cloths combined with neutral weak cleaners for wiping. It is strictly prohibited to use solvents such as acetone, banana water, or high-concentration alcohol for cleaning. Residual solvents will corrode the film layer and cause subsequent delamination and color fading.

2. Control of Temperature and Humidity in the Workshop for Construction

Control the temperature in the adhesion environment at 20-25℃ and the relative humidity at 40%-60%; in low-temperature environments, the film material is prone to brittleness, and in high-temperature environments, the adhesive layer is prone to overflow. Excessive humidity causes condensation on the base material, which can lead to blistering of the protective film and edge curling.

3. Operation Requirements for Adhesion and Peeling

Apply pressure and exhaust slowly from the center to the periphery at a uniform speed. Do not forcefully pull the film to cause stretching deformation; when removing the protective film from the finished product for storage, keep it flat and move it smoothly without folding or bending the film material. Do not allow repeated folding or bending of the film material to prevent permanent creases and deterioration of the protective performance.

4. Prohibited Storage and Piling Practices

Roll materials should be stored upright on pallets. Do not stack them under heavy pressure, expose to direct sunlight, or be close to heat source equipment. The storage environment should be kept cool and dry. The storage period should not exceed 12 months. If stored for a long time, the roll materials should be turned over regularly to avoid deformation due to single-sided pressure.

5. Prohibited Tools for Cleaning and Maintenance

For daily cleaning of the film surface, only use soft dust-free cloths to gently press and wipe. Do not use steel wool, hard brushes, or rough paper towels for grinding. This will directly scratch the anti-scratch surface layer, damaging the protection and color effect.

6. Adaptation Limitations for Working Conditions

This product is suitable for normal temperature and medium-temperature industrial protection scenarios. It cannot be placed outdoors under strong ultraviolet radiation or in environments with strong acid and alkali immersion. If used in a high-temperature spraying process, it is necessary to match the corresponding thickened specification to avoid long-term high-temperature causing the film body to age and become brittle.
