1. Process Temperature Compatibility Specifications

The standard temperature range for this Hot Stamping BOPET Transparent Film is 150-160℃, which is suitable for conventional commercial hot stamping and hot pressing processes. It is strictly prohibited to continuously bake at an excessively high temperature for a long time. The instantaneous hot stamping temperature should not exceed 165℃ for an extended period to prevent the substrate from undergoing excessive thermal contraction and the film surface from becoming brittle, thereby affecting the accuracy of hot stamping.

2. Usage Specifications for Front and Back Sides

Before loading the machine, it is essential to distinguish the functional layers of the film surface: the high corona surface (52-54 dynes) is the coating/grafting processing surface and is used for aluminum plating, coloring, and laminating; the low corona surface is the release outer layer and should not be processed in reverse. Otherwise, problems such as gold loss, incomplete transfer, and insufficient adhesion may occur. The end faces of the rolls have dedicated markings for quick identification.

3. Storage Environment Maintenance Requirements

The hot stamping special base film has higher requirements for cleanliness and dryness. It should be stored in a cool, dry, dust-free, and ventilated environment to avoid moisture, direct sunlight, and high-temperature stacking. Long-term moisture exposure can lead to a decrease in corona values and adhesion of the film surface, directly affecting the adhesion of the coating and the hot stamping effect.

4. Tension Control Requirements for Loading

High-speed hot stamping equipment requires flexible tension adjustment to avoid sudden excessive tension that causes film stretching deformation and registration deviation. It is recommended to conduct a low-speed trial run before starting to match the equipment parameters and ensure the stability of continuous hot stamping.

5. Cuts and Storage Prohibitions

The base film after cutting should be sealed for storage to prevent long-term exposure to the air, which may cause dust and impurities to adhere to it. It is strictly prohibited to stack it with sharp or hard objects to prevent scratches or indentations on the film surface, which could damage the mirror-like texture of the hot stamping surface.

6. Transportation and Handling Specifications

High-precision hot stamping thin base films are recommended to be transported using suspended supports or export protective supports for packaging to reduce the rolling and creasing of the rolls caused by squeezing and jolting, ensuring the production rate of the loaded products.
