Performance testing (factory standardization inspection items)

1. Dielectric value stratification stability test

Three sections of samples (head, tail, and middle segment) were taken from each roll of material for testing the corona dielectric value. The internal corona surface maintained a stable range of 52-54 dielectron units, with a fluctuation error of ≤ ±1 dielectron unit; the non-corona surface was 42-46 dielectron units. The electrical corona value remained stable throughout the process, and there was no significant decline after storage for 6 months, ensuring that the printed composite would not smudge or delaminate after long-term storage.

2. Mechanical strength and puncture resistance test

Both the longitudinal and transverse tensile breaking strength and tear strength indicators met the standards. Under the same thickness, the puncture resistance performance was superior to that of ordinary PET film. The high-speed cutting, compounding, and wrapping processing were less likely to have holes or tears, and were suitable for high-speed automated production lines.

3. High-temperature heat shrinkage rate test

Double gradient constant temperature heat shrinkage tests at 150℃ and 160℃. The heat shrinkage rates in both the transverse and longitudinal directions were controlled within extremely low standards. After high-temperature hot stamping, dry composite, and high-temperature coating processing, there were no problems such as film shrinkage, pattern deformation, or substrate wrinkling.

4. Optical transparency and appearance inspection

Full-frame scanning with a fully automatic haze and light transmittance detector. High light transmittance and low haze, without crystal points, bubbles, scratches, or oil stains. The transparent substrate did not affect the color reproduction of printing, and the display clarity was high for screens, protective cards, and label images.

5. High-temperature tolerance and aging test

Continuous constant temperature oven aging test at 160℃. The substrate did not yellow, become brittle, or deform. Under long-term high-temperature conditions, the dimensions and mechanical properties did not significantly decline. Suitable for electronic scenarios with long-term high-temperature use, such as capacitors, FPC circuit boards, etc.

6. Size stability cycling test

High and low temperature cycling switching test. The transverse and longitudinal thermal expansion and contraction amplitudes of Transparent Printing BOPET Film were extremely small. After long-term storage and transportation under temperature differences, the roll material end faces were flat, without curling or warping, and ensured the accuracy of the cutting finished product dimensions.

Q1: The double-sided durometer values of DZ1 BOPET film are different. How to distinguish the usage surface?

A1: The inner electrostatic discharge 52-54 durometer surface is used for processes requiring adhesion such as printing, glue bonding, aluminum plating, hot stamping, and ITO coating; the 42-46 non-electrostatic discharge surface is used as the exposed surface and can be used for release, anti-slip, protective film layer, and the surface of the roll will be marked with the electrostatic discharge surface identifier, so it can be quickly distinguished before the machine is put into use.

Q2: This transparent printing BOPET film has a maximum temperature resistance of 160℃. Can it be used for long-term continuous high-temperature operation?

A2: For short-term processing at 150-160℃, it is fully compatible with hot stamping, dry composite, and high-temperature coating; if the electronic equipment is in a long-term continuous high-temperature working condition, it is recommended to provide specific usage temperature and duration parameters, and we can recommend thicker specifications or high-temperature modified PET models.

Q3: There are many thickness specifications. How to choose the thickness that suits your industry?

A3: For protective card films and ultra-thin soft packaging composites, select 12-30μm; for ordinary labels, hot stamping films, select 30-75μm; for capacitance insulation, cable winding, select 50-100μm; for FPC circuits, ITO conductive base films, and film storage media, choose thicknesses above 100μm.
